apron hunting

I’ve wanted an apron for some time now, and I think I’ve found the perfect one! the problem in the hunt was that I couldn’t find one that was full length and super cute. most of the aprons I found were either ugly or only half ones, like little skirts. I don’t know about you, but when I’m cooking, I get stuff on my shirt, not on my pants. this one is from Anthropologie {of course} and I really like it. now, the only other dilemma is, being white, will I stain it all up from my messy cooking?

So I’ve decided from your blog that you are a complete shopaholic- when are you going to start saving some money in that Roth IRA I told you to start??? – Lauren!!

Lauren, you’d be so proud. When Charlie’s deployed and puts money in a Roth IRA, he only has to pay taxes on it once since they get tax free pay when they’re in a war zone.

In your defense, by spending money on an apron you are saving your clothes and therefore saving the cost to replace clothes you spill things on.

My grandmother, who has lots of experience with aprons, likes plain white ones so she can bleach them. I’ve given her one from Williams Sonoma before that she really likes. My mother, who’s similarly experienced, likes darker colored ones. She has a black one I gave her from Williams Sonoma, but it’s faded since she’s had it for like 4 years. The apron Bud’s mom gave me at my bridal shower was from Rolling Pin in Westshore Mall (She accidentally left the receipt in the bag).
