days off…

oh how good it feels to have a day off. or two in my case. I took today and tomorrow off from work to gather things together and work on really hunting for jobs and a home in Portland.
so, I’ve been productive today. thus, the lack of posts. I’ll be sure to post something tomorrow for list friday.
but until then…….

oh yea, p.s. – if anyone knows of some cool places to visit in Portland, great job possibilities/opportunities, super hot restaurants, or anything else neat, I’d love to know! please email me.

I just emailed my old boss in Washington to see if she has any tips for you. I’ll be sure to let you know what she has to say!

Alyson, I’m jealous. I would love to go to Portland. I am so excited to read about your move. My friend has been to Portland and he says… “it’s the best to go to the beach. it’s so nice. they have tons of local breweries, so the beer is good. and it’s very cool downtown, they have tons of bookstores etc”

For some reason, I think the lovely Chelsea from Frolic!(http://elseachelsea.typepad.com/) is based in Portland, though I could be wrong. I’m sure she’d be happy to offer some direction.

I love the Oregon Coast more than almost anyplace. Lighthouses. Need I say more?

Yes I think Chelsea is in Portland.
Sorry I have not been there so I am no use to you. But I know your love of beer tasting so I am sure you will love all the breweries!
