right this second…

I really like:
shoes and peppermints.
this calendar.
these advent calendar tutorials.

I can’t believe:
that tomorrow is December 1. {geez la-freakin-weeze}

I should be:
working on the spring catalog.

instead I’m:
thinking about my holiday cards. {shop update soon!}
looking at rain boots online.
dreaming up ways to make a million dollars.

I’m tasting:
three bean chili.
corn bread.
pears.

it makes sense to me that:
my color is cadet blue. thanks for the cute quiz Amy.
it even says “I’m smart, and I know it.” yep.

I’m listening to:
my last.fm radio station.

I’m excited about:
holiday ale festival.
iron and wine.
getting our Christmas tree.
and decorating it.

and remember:
today’s the last day to sign up for the in the moment swap. email me your info by 11:59 pm PST, and let’s start swapping music!

*UPDATE*

totally.

I’m totally feeling this outfit from the Sartorialist. it’s perfect for those blue-gray days.

last night I confessed to dlb that I don’t like the rain anymore. I don’t like being out in the rain, all the time, and getting wet. I never have. but I do like the kind of rain that involves thunder and lightening and sitting inside and snuggling up on the couch while watching movies and sipping on hot tea. not the slick pavement, wet leaves, my bag is getting wet, drops splashing on my legs, cold feet kind of rain. and to top it off, the weather forcast says snow is coming. this Florida girl isn’t ready for snow.

mission for this weekend: rain boots.

kryptos

I don’t want to hang my keys from it, but I’d really like something to hang my jewelry on. I think it just may be perfect for those delicate earrings and necklaces, tangled up in my jewelry box.

Radiohead announced their tour next summer in Europe. I’m either thinking:
a. they are planning a US tour as well. {hope!}
b. I may have to make an unexpected and expensive trip to Dublin, Paris, Milan, or any of the other fabulous locations they are playing.

twelve days ornaments

I could really fork out some money for all the adorable ornaments I’ve seen this season. Crate and Barrel has some really cute ones in all sorts of shapes and sizes. the categories are separated by color: red, metallic, gold & ivory, silver & frosty white, or multi-colored. I really like this 12 Days of Christmas set. cute and illustrated.

camper cool

when I was in college, I wanted a pair of Camper Retro Trainers so badly. yet, sadly, I could not find them anywhere. I guess at that time, there wasn’t an online store that sold them and anyone I asked told me, they are only available in the UK. what a bummer.
now, not only do still I want those Brother’s Sport trainers, I’ve got my eyes on the Mary Jane Ballerina, Wedge-heel boots, and those oddly adorable Helena Ankle boots.
not to mention, the animation on their site is amazing.

paint by number

I posted about the gorgeous books from Uppercase a little while ago. I noticed a link from Poppytalk this morning and had to check them out again. I can’t help but want this paint-by-number kit in my stocking this year. with 8 vintage inspired pictures, I would be content painting for hours.
