a walk in the park

yesterday morning, while dlb was at a group meeting for class, I headed up to Washington Park with our camera to take some pictures. the sun was shining and the air was brisk and for two whole hours I snapped away. I even filled up the memory card, which I can honestly say I’ve never done. I’ve uploaded some of the pictures to my flickr, though this doesn’t even capture all of the pretty things I saw. {or the fact that while snapping pics, I almost got stung by a big mean bee and got totally busted by a little kid while I was hiding in the woods taking my 366 shot}
in Washington Park, there is an arboretum and an international rose garden. most of the roses were clipped and not in bloom yet, but the site looks amazing. I can’t wait to go back when everything is in bloom! and I really can’t wait for spring. I felt it coming then today we got hit with more rain and wind that turned my umbrella upside down.

    With images like that, I can see why you filled up that memory card. Sounds like my favorite kind of walk in the park; your images are absolutely beautiful. Are you loving your new lens?
