becoming a skirt girl

I’m not so much of a skirt girl. I have some and love them but I’m usually more of a dress kind of girl… however, I bought a skirt from Zara while I was in the Philippines and now I’m starting to find myself really drawn to skirts. tulip style, high waisted, sash ties, and buttons…. I’ve added these two to my wish list.

is it just me or is the first steven alan skirt a direct copy of jenny’s wikstenmade pattern from stitch magazine?

I agree with Kate G, that first skirt (minus the pockets) looks just like the one Jenny Gordy designed. Which came first?
