right this second…

I’m already dreading:
winter!  {although, the slight chance that we might get snow this weekend is making me a little more excited!}

I’m listening to:
this amazing Rachmaninoff Prelude that I hadn’t listened to in years.  oh how I miss having a piano

this weekend, I’m planning to:
bake a pumpkin pie.  {I know, a little early but we can’t wait any longer}
make more home squeezed cider.
snuggle on the couch with my kitties.
begin tackling some looming “to dos”

happy weekend my friends!  chat with you monday.

    Bells of Moscow! I used to play the first three chords over and over again until I drove my mother & brother crazy. :-) Thank you for the link – haven’t heard the song in years. You are right – it is just perfect for the start of winter.

    Have a lovely weekend too!

    Ha! I just came across your blog, and as I was reading the first entry I thought to myself…Aha! This girl is in Portland. Then I read about Little Winter (which I sadly sadly missed), and felt so vindicated! Isn’t it miserable right now? I always hope for snow, though…Keep cozy! Oh, and is it ever too early for pumpkin pie? Pumpkin pie year ’round, I say.

    Sigh no snow as yet… thanks for the Rachmaninoff link – reminds me of the movie Shine.

    definitely not too early for pumpkin pie! and i would love to know how you make home pressed cider! i’ve been chatting about it with a friend (i suppose i could just look it up, but it’s easier to just ask someone).
