the DIY wedding family
last weekend we headed to Chicago to see one of my dearest friends get married. the wedding was so much fun and my gorgeous friend looked stunning all bride’d up! I was a bridesmaid and sewed up a fancy navy dress for myself and of course, wanted my boys to match me. I dug up the leftover fabric from the ties that Anabela made for our wedding and whipped up two bow ties: one for Wolf and one for Levi. I used this pattern for Wolf’s and this pattern for Levi’s. they turned out so great and were so simple! and this comes from a very novice sewer. we were the DIY family of the night, counting my dress {which I sewed without a pattern}, necklace and bow ties. too bad a sprang for the up do!
anyway, pretty dang cute, right?
