Unruly Things / Show Me Your Stack :: Rebecca Mir Grady

morning, friends! how’s your week going so far? we’re expecting highs in the mid-70s today and I couldn’t be more thrilled. today’s springtime stack comes from jewelry designer Rebecca Mir Grady. I love the thick yet sleek bands in her stack, don’t you? here’s what Rebecca has to say about it…

I’m wearing pieces from my new collection “TRACKS”. It was inspired by my journey to a remote island in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, as well as my fascination with Robyn Davidson’s risky 1700 mile trek by camel across the Australian desert. I love making rings that can be worn simply on their own or stacked up any which way with others. I always wear a few thin gold Thetis bands, and then add on a wide silver or gold band or two! The ring on my left index finger is originally carved in wax, cast into silver, and hand finished. The other rings are all hammered, formed, and soldered by hand from recycled gold and silver.

Some of the rings I’m wearing: the Thetis ring in 14k gold / the McLeod wrap ring in silver / the Davidson cuff ring in 14k gold / the Ayers ring in silver /the Bailey ring in silver /the McLeod cuff ring in 14k gold / the Thetis 3 ring in 14k gold

love that Bailey ring, how about you? thanks so much Rebecca!

I love the Ayers ring- it’s very sculptural. I also love that someone with short nails was featured :)
