orange really isn’t my color, but I love the texture and details of this Rachel Comey dress. looks like it comes in black too.

thanks to Roberta, I quickly clicked over to Zara this morning to check out the new looks. while I love the casual layering pieces she posted about, I’m really drawn to these classy “wear-to-work” looks from Zara Woman. I just purchased a champagne colored coat that I’m super excited to pair with black when the temps drop.

I love these lookbook photos from No. 6 fall 2010 apparel collection. I love that most of the lookbook are high contrast black and white photos. guess you don’t always need color to fall in love!

I realize my posts might seem a little schitzo lately, but it’s that darn toss up between loving fall clothes and not wanting summer to end. I’m head over heels for this dress. the print looks a little Rachel Comey-esque and besides, I could toss a cardigan over it and throw on some leggings when it got colder, right?
{spotted on oh joy!, via need supply}

the first few pages of the early autumn Toast catalog have me yearning for cooler* weather. it also makes the messy artist in me want to get out my paints and go crazy. luckily, myself and a few friends have plans for tie dying/dip dying this weekend.
*no, not cold. just cool enough for leggings, light sweaters and scarves… just incase Mother Nature is reading. :)

Suann posted the cutest pair of little girl sized glitter sneakers yesterday, which sent me on a hunt for a pair my size. I got off track when I spotted these metallic Chucks.
now… I’m not normally a flashy kind of girl, but I’m seriously thinking about putting them on my “must-have” list for fall.

thanks to Mrs. French, I too have found the perfect fall collection that I could live in every day. I almost always wear jeans, so any way I can dress them up with out feeling too casual is my M.O.

I love this look. it seems so comfortable! and that little keyhole in the back of the cardigan gives it something special, don’t you think?
