love all the bright red in Built By Wendy’s Fall ’11 collection.  plus, they’ve got a super cute new website to boot!

while I’m no where near ready to think about fall, one thing I want to brighten up my fall wardrobe is brightly patterned scarves.

holy cow you guys, I’m getting so excited about The Portland Collection, the latest collection from Pendleton, inspired by their rich archive of Native American-inspired textiles and blankets. some of my very favorite Portland designers, Rachel Turk and Nathaniel Crissman from Church & State and John Blasioli teamed up to create this amazing collection and I am beyond speechless with the outcome.  the design is so true of their styles, yet blends flawlessly with Pendleton’s archival heritage.

for those of you that don’t know, I work at Pendleton in addition to blogging and freelancing, so this collection is pretty dear to my heart.  plus, I’m happy to call these designers my friends – bravo guys!  I can’t wait to show you the pieces I ordered.  the collection is set to hit stores early September.

wow.  I’m pretty much blown away by Steven Alan’s Fall ’11 collection.  would it be alright if I wanted one of everything?

I’m in no way ready to give up on summer and transition to fall yet… but I adore the new collection from Snoozer Loser.  it has me excited for brisk fall days with brightly colored tights and scarves.

for a girl who loves her solid black & grey clothes, I’ve fallen hard for Suno.  the prints from the fall/winter collection are gorgeous!

I’ve had this post in the wings for months waiting for the time when I could share this amazing collection from Pendleton with you, The Portland Collection.  I’ve been SO excited about it and I’m absolutely thrilled to share these photos with you today.

The Portland Collection is a new ready-to-wear line inspired by Pendleton’s rich archive of Native American-inspired textiles and blankets.  some of my favorite Portland designers, Rachel Turk and Nathaniel Crissman from Church & State and John Blasioli teamed up to create this amazing collection and I am beyond speechless with the outcome.  the design is so true of their styles, yet blends flawlessly with Pendleton’s archival heritage.  the collection includes dresses with brass buttons, reversible outerwear, graphic sweaters, wool shirts, accessories, blankets and more and is set to hit boutiques this fall.  to stay informed on availability and purchasing info, follow The Portland Collection blog.
