one of my absolute favorite shops in Portland is Frances May.  I adore the owner, Pam, and her gorgeous shop girls.  each time I stop in, I end up spending at least an hour in the shop, chatting or trying on fancy dresses and shoes.  they recently went through some renovations to expand the fitting rooms and make a fantastic new cash wrap.  this meant expanding the jewelry display – my fave.  Frances May not only carries beautiful clothing, jewelry and accessories for women, but they also carry a great collection of wares for men.  if you’re in Portland, be sure to stop in and if you’re not, shop the online store.

little things : father & son bowties from General Knot

General Knot makes the best neckties and bowties around – hands down.  and I’m not just being biased because of our little collaboration last year.  they’re truly amazing.  the neckties and bowties are mostly all crafted from vintage and deadstock fabrics going as far back as the World War II era, which makes them truly unique.

I just love these new Father & Son gift sets.  those tiny anchors… way cute.

bridge & burn, fall/winter

Bridge & Burn is one of my long time favorites out of Portland.  I’m always anxious to see what they roll out with next.  the line has expanded so much over the years from simply outerwear to now include dresses and sweaters.

I love the styling from these shots from their Fall/Winter photoshoot.  the photos were shot in Forest Park and make me ache for the mossy evergreen forests in Portland.  Bridge & Burn is about to open their first retail space in Downtown Portland this month – exciting!  check out their online shop for more goodness.
