I realize I haven’t posted too much holiday or gifty related things this year. with all the other amazing gift guides out there, I figured I’d just post a few things here and there when I saw them. and honestly, I’ve been so busy printing and designing things for holiday gifts that I just haven’t had extra time.
anyway, here’s a little list of things that made it to my wish list this year that I think would make great gifts for any of you like minded ladies out there. I’ve got my fingers crossed extra hard for a few of them.
clockwise from top left: laboratory flower vase – $14, forest for the trees bag – $175, world vegetarian cookbook – $26.95, glass whale vase – $30, ultra knit weekend pants – $31.50, dory down parka – $97.13, fianna shrug cardigan – £165.00, alder dress – $280.

I’d love to get a glamorous vintage dress to twirl around in for holiday parties this year. I love these pretty dresses from Dear Golden Vintage.

doesn’t this photo make you all warm and fuzzy about the holidays? it makes me want to rush home, put on some jazzy Christmas songs, throw on some soft, wool socks and bake this.
do you have any special traditions or things you love to do before Christmas? what is your favorite thing about the holidays?

Gina was kind enough to share her new venture, Land-Rich. the first quarterly edition are pretty glass bulbs with tiny specimens of nature inside. I can’t wait to see what’s up next. see more here.
really, you guys know me too well when it comes to a perfectly presented specimen.

Martha just released her holiday Handcraft collection this morning in her shop. I was completely smitten with everything in the shop, but I managed to score one of her wrapped fabric necklaces.
there’s a few things left in her shop, snag them while you can!!

eeek! how cute are these tiny terrarium ornaments!?

I love this pretty little necklace.

so… I splurged a bit today. but for good reason. last year I searched high and low for the perfect hooded scarf. even after begging my grandmother to make me one, it was too chunky to be worn as a hood and I wear it as a neck warmer.
when I saw Abby’s post about plainmadeRETAIL, I had to click over. suddenly there was a hood in my shopping cart.
SO so good. super early christmas present to me. and I’d bet if you’re looking for a good gift, you probably know someone who might enjoy one of these too.
