dlb, Wolf and I have been in McCall Idaho this summer. we’ve been huckleberry picking, fishing in the river, talking walks around the lake, making s’mores around the campfire and spending time with Wolf and family. so sad to see summer end when it’s been such a good one!!

last week, the folks from Terrain invited a lovely group of bloggers, including myself, to a day of garden tours, delicious cake tastings with the guys from Baked, mini spa treatments, a terrarium class, and a 7 course farm-to-table dinner – all in celebration of their upcoming website re-launch later this month. being a fan of Terrain, I was so excited to visit their Glen Mills, PA location. I was literally pinching myself all day long, falling in love with every step around the grounds. everything is beyond beautiful and gorgeously styled. I couldn’t stop myself from taking photos of everything. it was an amazing day and I’m excited to share some photos with you. if you have the chance to visit Terrain, I highly recommend it!
thanks for the amazing time Terrain!

I love these rock collections by my friend Cori Kindred. instead of labeling them by their proper name, she picked words inspired by the shape and color of the stone. aren’t they pretty?
psst… if you’re going to be in Portland this weekend, Lynn from Satsuma Press is curating an Etsy pop up event at West Elm in the Pearl with lots of my favorite etsy sellers. it should be lots of fun!

my friend Leah just shot some gorgeous photos for her blog SpacePDX in one of my favorite Portland haunts, Artemisia. it’s my go-to spot for unique plants and decor inspiration. if you’re in Portland and you haven’t been there yet – it’s a must!!
also, be sure to check out Leah’s site for more beautiful photography.

hellebores are popping up everywhere in Portland right now. they are quite possibly my favorite flower of late. so unique and such beautiful colors. I think this burlapped hellebore would be just perfect in my windowsill!
speaking of flowers and Portland, my friend Chelsea Fuss of the blog frolic! is hosting a class on How to Make a French Hand-Tied Bouquet. the workshop sounds so dreamy! perfectly timed with Mother’s Day. space is limited, sign up here!

I love these beetle trivets so much. I’d love to use one as a plant stand or a big bedside coaster. and psst, they’re on sale!
