it’s here!!  finally, after weeks of hard work, the Postal Press 2010 calendar, titled Specimen, is finally ready for pre-orders starting today!

from butterflies and moths to beetles and shells, our 2010 calendar shows our love for nature and vintage botanical prints with 12 unique specimen letterpress printed on each month.  each includes a tiny bulldog clip to display your calendar on the wall and the calendar is designed to be trimmed and turned into a 5.5″ × 5.5″ print once the month is over.  for more details and photos, visit our site and blog.  calendars will ship on October 28 and thank you for your support friends!!

one of our wholesale accounts for Postal Press is the brand new retail space inside the lovely studio of cevd paper in Los Alamos, California. Christine just had her studio opening a few weeks ago and shared some photos of the shop on her blog today. doesn’t the space look dreamy?

we just updated our inventory of journals and notepads at Postal Press!  there is now a bigger size of our floral scratch pads, which has been our best seller yet.  also more animal journals, small floral scratch pads and pocket note pads!

we’ve got another update scheduled next week to include note cards and another size of the animal journals.

wow.  first of all, how amazing were my lovely guest bloggers last week?  a million thanks to Kate, Roberta and Julie.  you ladies totally rocked it.  I definitely took advantage of that week off and really got some work done!

speaking of work…  Postal Press.  another wow.  I am so pleased at the response from all of you!  it’s been so hard keeping the little shop a secret for so long and now that it’s live, I couldn’t be more happy.  letterpress is one of those things that… totally soothes me.  I’m at peace when I’m at the press and just love every little thing about it.  it’s always been an obsession of mine, fine letterpress stationery, but now that it’s something I’m doing myself, I’ve learned to really appreciate it even more.

right now we’re sold out of a few things, including those hot sellers, the floral scratch pads and pocket note pads!  I’m hoping to have time this week to put together a few to add to the shop and I’ll let you know when they are there.  in the works are more little journals and note pads as well as the long awaited 2010 calendar.  I’ve been putting a lot of thought into it for a month or so now and started work on it over the weekend.  I won’t spoil the surprise, but if you liked the 2009 calendar, you will totally love 2010.  and bonus, it’s letterpressed!  I’m way excited about it.

WE’RE LIVE!!!!!!!

ok, I can barely stand it, I’m so excited.  Postal Press is finally live!  combined with our love for letterpress, vintage postage stamps, old fashioned letters and pretty packaging, early in 2009 we began talking about a little shop where we could offer all these things.  dlb and I put in so much work for the past 5 months making this little dream into a reality.  we’ve been hard at work creating wonderful things to stock the shop and we couldn’t be more pleased and happy with the outcome.  he built the webpage while I letterpressed away. we’re a good team, I’d say.  :)

thank you friends, I can’t tell you how much your support has meant.  so what are you waiting for, go check it out!  hip hip hooray!
