this past weekend we floated down the Deschutes river and took Wolf along for the trip.  it was an adventure to say the least!  thankfully, a relaxing one.  we bought along a few things to occupy Wolf when just floating wasn’t his thing and we’re looking forward to doing it again!

I’m working on a little series of guest posts for the Etsy blog and my first one went up today.  a trip to the shore with kids!  have a look.

what’s your “must have” thing when you visit the beach, river, lake or whatever shore you land upon?  my “must have” is definitely a pair of cute sunnies.

I’m having a hard time accepting that it’s already August, what about you?  I’ve become a summer lover and I’m not ready to give up on warm sunny days in trade for long cold nights.  luckily, we’ve still got quite a ways until it’s time to drag out our winter boots.

Wolf and I just got a membership at the local swim and fitness club and have been enjoying the pool on hot hot days.  while I love my simple black bathing suit {hello slimming!}, I’m envious of all the other mamas in their brightly colored suits.  naturally I did a little window shopping.
