some wintry things inspiring me today…
{no-sew bunting, red door, lookbook outtakes, wintry things}

this year, more than ever, I’m excited to decorate our house for the holidays. we’ve got a really pretty red door which I’ve already hung a wreath on and a huge picture window in the front that I’m hoping {or hoping dlb will} drape some twinkling lights outside. even though we won’t be in Portland for Christmas, we’re planning to get a tree this week so we can enjoy it while we’re here. I’ve been wanting to get a few more things to spruce up the house to make it a little cozy and to me, this set up is nearly perfect. not too flashy and honestly, I think I’d leave it around all winter long.
what about you? how do you decorate for the holidays?

last week we had temperatures dip into the 20s and teens. whenever it gets that cold, I drag my big, puffy down jacket out of the depths of my closet and off I go. while I always get compliments on my coat, I never feel “cute”.
I love this gal’s snow outfit and giant scarf. she manages to look cozy AND cute!

when the air starts to turn cooler, I automatically begin thinking of ways to cozy up my home. I typically turn to throw blankets, but today I stumbled on these cable knit pillows. imagine how cozy they would make your couch or bed!

in-freaking-credible, right? Shabd is definitely the queen of tie dye.
plan a fantastic holiday party next year, complete with vintage cocktails, a lavish table setting and above and beyond gorgeous decorations.

how pretty is this picture from Lena’s garden? I think it looks like a pretty floral floating snowball.
