unruly things

my endless hunt for the perfect summer sandal continues. there’s been a lot of buzz about these Ancient Greek Sandals lately, and it’s no surprise why. they are pretty dang cute. and yet, so simple! I love classic styles that I can wear season after season. {even though I’m quite fond of the top pair in that trendy orange.} anyone know how they fit? how comfortable they are?

I noticed something today while browsing through my pins on Pinterest: I’ve got a major thing for all things black and green.  from black clothes and accessories to pops of green and everything in between.  here’s a few of my recent pins:

lately, I’ve been obsessing over bonsai trees.  tiny trees – pretty incredible, right?  I’d love to have a scots pine or a cypress cedar.

I could easily say that red is my favorite color in the kitchen.  I have a bright red Kitchen Aid mixer, submersion blender and a few other red utensils.  this apron and cutting board would be nice additions.

I’m currently obsessing over this hex ring from Aesa.  wouldn’t it make the prettiest engagement ring?
