52 weeks of Wolf : 04.52

“A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013.”

this has been a tough week.  and there’s one thing I know for sure – I am not a fan of molars.  a trip to the dentist last week confirmed that Wolf’s two year molars are starting to make their way in.  and he feels it… badly.  poor kid.  he’s been whining and crying and just not happy.  he’s woken up at night every night this week and of course, we’re feel it too.  we’ve all been tired and cranky and a little impatient.  I’m thankful for quiet moments this week.  and I’m thankful that I can still manage to make him giggle between the tears.

another cake this week.  I know, I know, tempting you right?  the truth is, I hardly cooked anything exciting this week and this one I haven’t made… yet.  I’m hoping {with fingers and toes crossed} that someone might see this and whip it up for me this weekend.  this Saturday I’ll be adding on another year and Chocolate Stout Cake seems like an appropriate birthday cake.  with a sweet stout to pair with it, of course.

little things : kiddo tunes

Wolf loves to dance.  he’ll stand in front of the stereo system and excitedly yell, “SONG! SONG!” and then bounce and spin in place when his songs come on.  while he tends to love all tunes with a good beat, he’s definitely expressed a genuine love for certain songs.  good thing they’re all songs that are adult approved.
